Add a URL links to paperwork (Short links)
You can add a short URL link to any piece of paperwork within YourTradebase. This includes quotes and invoices. A short link can also be added to your email signature .
Perfect for linking websites or online brochures without having to show the long URL link
Adding a URL Short link to your Email Signature
Here's how to quickly add a short link to your Email Signature:
- In a separate tab open the web page you would like to create a short link for and copy the address
- In your YourTradebase account head to Settings > Your Email settings
- Scroll to Your Email signature
- Highlight the word you want to add the link to.
- Select the two links icon from the toolbar above the signature box
- Paste your website link into the box and press Link. The word will turn blue and underlined
- Scroll to the bottom on the screen and Save changes
Adding a URL Short link to your paperwork
You can add links to websites and online brochures in any note section of your paperwork.
This will allow the customer to click the link, even in a PDF format. Saving you from having to attach separate documents that could be missed.
Here's how to add a short link to your paperwork
- In a separate tab open the web page you would like to create a short link for and copy the address
- In your YourTradebase account head to the piece of paperwork
- Type the word you would like to add the short link too. Such as Website or Brochure
- Highlight the word/s and select the two links icon from the toolbar below the description box
- Paste your website link into the box and press Link. The word will turn blue and underlined which means the link is live.
Your customer will now be able to click this link to take them straight to the website or brochure.
