Showing/hiding materials & labour costs

Choose how much detail and costs to show your customers.

You can choose to:

All these changes can be made from the ' Customise > Materials & Labour' menu.

No need to keep updating these settings - changes are automatically saved as default for all future quotes.

Show a full breakdown with individual prices

Show all materials and/or labour costs, each with descriptions and prices:
  1. Open the 'Customise' menu and select ‘Materials & Labour’ 
  2. Check the options for ’Show material prices’, ’Show breakdown of materials’ and ’Show material quantities’
  3. Repeat for the labour options as required.

Show a full breakdown without prices

If you want to show all your materials and/or labour, but don't show any prices:
  1. Open the 'Customise' menu and select ‘Materials & Labour’ 
  2. Check the options for ’Show breakdown of materials’ and ’Show material quantities’
  3. Uncheck the options for ’Show material prices’
  4. Repeat for the labour options as required.

Show a total cost only

If you want to show the total cost of any materials and/or labour without a specific breakdown: 

  1. Open the 'Customise' menu and select ‘Materials & Labour’ 
  2. Check the options for ’Show material prices’
  3. Uncheck the options for ’Show breakdown of materials’
  4. Repeat for the labour options as required.

Hide all materials and/or labour

If you want to hide all materials and/or labour from your quote: 

  1. Open the 'Customise' menu and select ‘Materials & Labour’ 
  2. Uncheck the options for ’Show breakdown of materials’ and ’Show material prices’
  3. Repeat for the labour options as required.

You're still able to see quoted material costs, along with a full breakdown, by selecting the quote total at the top of the screen:
