Taking payments in person
YourTradebase will allow you to take payments in-person, below is your guide for both desktop and mobile.
In order to take in-person payments your Stripe account will need to be connected to YourTradebase. Do this via Settings> Take online payments> Connect to stripe.

From a mobile device
- Find the invoice that you would like to pay and select to see the review screen.
- Above the invoice on the left hand click on the green button that says Add payment
- Choose the option Take payment now
- Hand the device over to your customer to complete the card details. The pay button beneath the card details will show the customer how much will be taken from their card.
- Once they are happy that all of the details are correct guide them to press the green Pay £XXX button at the bottom of the screen.
- When payment has been taken the Payment Complete screen will be shown
- From here you can head back to the job to send the customer a receipt, if required. Sending receipts
From a desktop
- On your invoice page select the action menu in the top right of your screen and select Turn online payment on
- Now go to your Add payment button, from the list choose the option that says Take payment now
- This will bring up the screen to input card details. The pay button at the bottom of the screen will confirm how much will be taken from their card.
- Once customer is happy with the details taken press the green Pay £XX button to process the payment
- Screen will show Payment complete once processed
- From here you can head back to the job to send the customer a receipt, if required. Sending receipts
