Create a task

You can create tasks as reminders to get work done.  Together they can help you build a daily 'to-do' list that are shown on your home page under What's on Today.

Tasks can be set in three ways

  1. A general task (not attached to specific job or quote)
  2. A customer task
  3. A job task

General

A general task is not tied to a specific customer or job but instead is a reminder that you need to get something done.  How's how to set those tasks up:

  • From your home page click on the green New button and select task
  • Complete the boxes with your reminder information
  • Select a due date (we'll send you a reminder the day it's due)
  • Use the drop down menu to assign the task to yourself or another team member
  • Once completed press the green button Add this task to save

Customer profile

If you haven't yet set up a job or quote for a customer but want to set up a reminder then you can set a task against your customers profile. 

Here how:

  • Head to the customer profile
  • Under the Task heading click on the Add new task button
  • Complete the task boxes with your reminder information
  • Select a due date (we'll send you a reminder the day it's due)
  • Use the drop down menu to assign the task to yourself or another team member
  • Once completed press the green button Add this task to save

Job tasks

Need to set a reminder to make an order or chase a customer to sign off thier quote?  Here's how to set that up:

  • Find and open the job 
  • Click on the green New button top right of the screen and select task OR select the task tab
  • Complete the task boxes with your reminder information
  • Select a due date (we'll send you a reminder the day it's due)
  • Use the drop down menu to assign the task to yourself or another team member
  • Once completed press the green button Add this task to save
